February 2025 Civilian Casualties Report

The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the killing of 174 people in Syria during February 2025. Among the victims were 23 children, 35 women, and 5 individuals who died under torture.
The report attributes responsibility as follows:
- Syrian Democratic Forces: 6 victims
- Government Internal Security Forces: 5 victims
- Turkish forces, Coalition forces, and Israeli occupation forces: 1 victim each
Additionally, the committee recorded:
- 55 people killed by unidentified perpetrators
- 54 people killed by landmine explosions
- 25 people killed in car bomb explosions
- 15 people killed by remnants of shelling and unexploded ordnance
Casualties by Governorate:
- Aleppo: 44 victims (highest number)
- Deir ez-Zor: 41 victims
- Homs: 22 victims
- Latakia and Idlib: 19 victims each
- Hama: 12 victims
- Raqqa: 7 victims
- Daraa: 6 victims
- Rif Dimashq (Damascus Countryside): 3 victims
- As-Suwayda: 1 victim
