Dr. Ramesh was born and raised in India and educated in India, UK, Japan and the US. He obtained his Ph.D. in engineering from Research Laboratories of Engineering Materials Tokyo Institute of Technology as a Japan Government Fellow of the Ministry of Education. He is a recipient of Max Planck Fellowship. Dr Ramesh worked as a senior scientist for US National Laboratories and published more than more than 70 publications: both in peer reviewed scientific journals, as well as popular articles on science, and education, especially for the youth. He has been a college professor, consultant and guest lecturer. He has presented to a wide range of audiences on the subject of meditation, emotional intelligence, and the Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. He has given invited talks and lectured graduate schools at MIT, University of Washington, UC Berkeley, and US Library of Congress under the auspices of US-Japan workshop. Dr. Ramesh worked directly with Mother Teresa in Calcutta between 1979-1980 and is listed in Who's Who in America. Dr. Ramesh is a Physics, Mathematics and Science Teacher within the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. |
